Designer Gold supports THE PROUTY

Once again this year, Designer Gold will be closed on the day of The Prouty, Saturday, July 12 -- we support THE PROUTY all the way, because everyone has, unfortunately, been touched in some way by this horrible disease: cancer

For those who are unfamiliar with The Prouty -- it is an enormous event that draws people from all over the region to walk, run, row, cycle and play golf to raise money in the fight against cancer, more than 5,000 people last year. All donations support The Norris Cotton Cancer Center at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, a leading cancer research and care facility in Lebanon, NH. In 2013, The Prouty raised $2.75 million dollars from this event alone.

For the past two years, all of our staff members have wanted to raise money and participate in The Prouty. So, our business will be closed to allow that to happen:

Ruthie Murray and Orin Pacht will walk.

Paul Gross and Peggy Sadler will row.

There is still time to contribute -- and even after Saturday, donations will be accepted by The Prouty at The Norris Cotton Cancer Center. If you have not already contributed and would like to, you may click on any of our Prouty Website Donation Pages and make your donation.
