Have you ever- been to a sidewalk sale and walked away thinking "Oh it's just the same old stuff they always carry except it's discounted because it's damaged or broken" ? Then there are the sidewalk sales you look forward to every year. Well it is time for one of those "Ooh I have to remember to go there" sales. On July 19th- Yes this Saturday, is Hanover's town-wide sidewalk sale and Designer Gold will be there.
You should be there too, Paul and Peggy are cleaning out vaults you did not even know they had.
Discounts will be taken on jewelry that has been hidden for months/years and on some old favorites like Dandy, Sarah Richardson and keshi pearls. Once they're gone, they are gone. Designer Gold will no longer be carrying these models.
Even more exciting is the never before seen jewelry by the late Harriet Hemenway which will be for sale. These unique sterling silver adult and children rings will be priced for a suggested donation of $15 - $50 with the proceeds going to the Upper Valley Haven (Of course you may always donate more). As you know, The Upper Valley Haven is a private not-for-profit organization providing temporary shelter, food, clothing and educational programming for homeless families. We will, as always, have our "old jewelry donation jar for the Upper Valley Haven" on the premises.
Win a $100 gift certificate after viewing this sidewalk extravaganza by journeying upstairs to register! The wining ticket will be drawn at 5:30pm that very day.
Also worth the trip upstairs is the Recycled Jewelry Show and sale which will be finishing up its final weeks shortly. The show benefits the Ethical Metalsmiths. A lot of the pieces have already sold, but there are still unique treasures to behold.
Don't forget- this Saturday July 19th from 9am-5pm come to Designer Gold at 3 Lebanon Street- You can't miss us, just follow the crowd!
